Since eloping in France a year ago, Kerrie-Anne and Nathan knew they wanted to celebrate their marriage at home with something elegant, much like the setting of Paris, and that’s exactly what they achieved at their STUDIO wedding reception.
Set amongst the endless skyline of Sydney from the windows of STUDIO, Sydney Tower they commemorated their marriage with 64 of their closest friends and family.
When they first visited STUDIO they were astounded, “We were both blown away by the gorgeous Sydney view and knew that we had to have our reception there! STUDIO and the view reminded us of the Eiffel Tower and the elegance of Paris,” said Kerrie-Anne.
With their own flair Kerrie-Anne and Nathan organised their reception, “Our wedding was intimate, relaxed and humorous, especially with the speeches, the games, wedding cake topper and Polaroid photos for everyone's table names.”
“We wanted to enjoy ourselves with our friends and family and not get caught up in worrying about the small things on the day,” Kerrie-Anne said.
The evening included a three course alternate serve dinner featuring a fillet of beef, kale chips and a coconut panna cotta for dessert, among other delicious dishes.
The couple couldn’t agree to one favourite part of their evening, “We're both from Sydney and just having the opportunity to have a night up there celebrating with our closest friends and family taking in the view as it changed from day to night was amazing. Another highlight was the intimacy of the venue, as it allowed us to spend time with each other as well as with our guests,” said Kerrie-Anne.
