Picture this: You’re looking out over the city, harbour and beyond, from one of the best vantage points in Sydney. As the horizon turns to pastel hues and the spot where you’re about to say ‘I do’ fills with the last of the sun’s rays, your guests are filled with awe and anticipation...
This exceptional moment happened precisely on Saturday, July 22, when Leisa and Michael tied the knot at STUDIO amongst their nearest and dearest.
When asked what their venue criteria was, Leisa and Michael explains: “Sydney City with its abundance of natural beauty and lively vibrant buzz has a very special place in our lives. We were looking for an iconic venue that represented our Sydney, and a sophisticated setting where we can have a fun and intimate evening with our closest family and friends.”
Upon their first visit to STUDIO, the couple were immediately amazed by the space.
“The bar, the stylish and elegant furnishings and the spectacular views had us sold and we knew we had found the perfect place for our special day. What could be more iconic in modern Sydney than a venue in Sydney Tower?”
On the big day, celebrant Oliver Thomson conducted a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony, where Leisa and Michael commemorated their marriage with Sydney’s breathtaking harbour views as the backdrop.
Guests were treated to sparkling and canapés on arrival followed by a three course alternative serve dinner crafted by Head Chef, Elton Inglis.
From oysters and pork cheek to atlantic salmon, oven roasted lamb rack, and apple & pistachio crumble, each dish showcased the best of the latest seasonal produce.
On the whole, the happy couple were beyond thrilled with their special day and thanked STUDIO for playing a major role in make it a memorable occasion.
“The STUDIO staff could not have been more accommodating. The food was amazing and the service impeccable. The whole evening went like clockwork and all our guests were very impressed with our celebration,” said Leisa and Michael.
“We will never look at Sydney Tower without thoughts of the wonderful heartfelt moments that it helped to provide.”
We wish Leisa and Michael all the best for their future together!
